You’ve probably already seen pretty much every inch of Kim Kardashian (what with her s#x tape, reality show, and, of course, December 2007 Playboy pictorial). Now you can get between the covers with her—hardcovers, that is. With more than 400 pages of intimate snaps (including bikini selfies, lingerie selfies and, yes, several nude selfies), flipping through her new photo book Selfish, published by art-house giant Rizzoli ($20), feels like scrolling through a fabulously rich and beautiful friend’s well-curated smartphone. “Helicopter ride from the Hamptons to the city,” “Thailand yacht life,” and “Just got home from an Oscar party” are some of the captions that accompany drool-worthy shots of Kim solo or with her famous family and friends. Borrowing Kylie’s bikini in Miami, using the outdoor shower in Thailand, on the way to the Teen Choice Awards and vamping before Dancing With the Stars—all selfie-documented. The best of the bunch? A n#ked Kim leans over her camera phone, fresh out of a spray-tan treatment. “I get so dark…Kanye calls it a Yé-tan,” she quips.
At just five-by-seven inches, Selfish is not a coffee table book — perhaps a pocket companion for the devoted Kim fan (or a nightstand companion for the devoted Kim man). If she had a penny for every time someone ogled her, she’d be a millionaire — oh, wait. Too much Kim? Maybe there’s no such thing.
